Amtrak’s new hybrid trainer, dubbed Dinosaur Train, has been spotted in a number of Australian cities, and it’s now officially ready for pre-order.
Amtrak has announced that the Dinosaur Train is a train set for the American public that’s been designed for the hybrid trainer market.
The train sets feature an all-electric propulsion system, a hybrid braking system, and an array of electronic controls.
This includes the ability to turn the train around and return to the station at will, as well as a new stop stop system that will allow passengers to change train schedules and return the train to the same station as soon as it stops.
The train sets are currently available at various Amtrix stations and are being offered as an all in one purchase.
It is expected that the Dino Train will be available in Europe and the Middle East in the coming months.
Amtrix is one of the major rail companies in Australia, and the train sets have been used extensively by Amtricks customer service team to connect customers to the train systems in the country.
The Amtrick company has also recently begun to offer trains in Australia as part of its Hybrid Train program, which also includes an electric locomotive and a hybrid bus train.
