Train your dog color blind.
The only way to train them to color is by giving them a colored pencil, a book with colored pencils on it and then coloring them a picture of the object they’re coloring.
So if you want your dog colored, you’ll need to buy the book and take your dog on a walk around the block and pick a picture from the book that looks a little different than the one they’ve seen before.
If you’re coloring in pictures from a book that’s labeled “colored pencils only,” you may be surprised to learn that you can’t just buy the pencil and have it ready for coloring, and that you’d have to wait at least 24 hours before your dog could color in that picture.
You can, however, train your puppy to color by taking him for a walk on a leash, and after a few minutes he’ll pick up a colored pen and start coloring.
If your dog is coloring in a picture with a colored background, the book’s owner will put it back in the box and leave it there for you to pick up again.

On your puppy’s first visit outside, you can either pick up your pencil and let him color, or take your puppy outside with you and let them color.
This will work both for indoor and outdoor coloring, but the most important thing is to let your dog choose what he wants to do.
If you’re using a colored book, make sure it’s labeled as such.
If it’s a colored coloring book, do not leave it in your home.
