Posted February 07, 2019 14:00:00 This train car was parked on the tracks between the Brisbane CBD and Wollongong in Queensland, but this time the couple decided to marry each others train car.
“It’s been on the side of the track for a few years now, and we’ve never really thought about doing anything with it,” Mr Kato said.
“When it was in good condition, we thought it would be a good project to do with it.”
But it’s now pretty worn and rusty, so it’s just nice to have something new to share with other people.
The bride-to-be, who was dressed as a bride, and the groom both agreed to take part in the ceremony. “
You can’t just take anything that’s been in the public domain and put it up and run with it, so we decided to do it,” he said.

“We didn’t do anything fancy,” he laughed.
The couple said they were honoured to be invited to perform at the train station.
“It’s always a thrill to be there, it’s always an honour,” he added.
“We got a couple of people to come up and say hello and we had a bit of a laugh.”
I’m really excited to have a wedding in a train station.
